Getting around

Slovenia is a small and very diverse country, so we often say that you can ski in the morning and jump into the Adriatic Sea in the afternoon…that is true, but if you have your own transport. Unfortunately the public transport specially in the countryside is poor. If you fly to one of many nearby airports, make sure you rent a car. During festivals taxi service is much better.

You can also rent a mountain bike to make short trips around.
